I used to look forward to Restaurant Weeks but then I realized that NYC has a restaurant week almost every month. Basically, when a group of restaurants band together and put out a theme (or sometimes no theme), they call it a restaurant week. I'm not joking, you can probably find a Japanese restaurant week, a Lower East Side restaurant week, or whatever. The good thing about restaurant week is obviously the fact you get to have a complete meal, with appetizer, soup/salad, entree, and dessert at a more reasonable price (or if your regular price is sky-high,
a slightly discounted, but still ridiculous price).

Anyhow, to get to the review. T. looked up this place for us and set up the reservation (yay for other planners in the world). I went with the restaurant week special: a salad (only because it had pears in it), the steamed lobster entree, and a key lime pie.

Everything was good and I really look forward to more outings to try the regular menu items.
